I saw King Crimson, and a player from the opening band The California Guitar Trio played a Chapman, and then Levin came on and played his. I don't think the Ryman acoustics were kind to their sound. Levin shone on the MM. The upright he played--did he need it? His sound would have been best had he stayed on the Music Man. The Ryman in Nashville likes acoustic guitars a lot better than electrics. I'll bet the soundman was dying.

But a fantastic couple of bands. It was a joy to see Levin and Fripp on the stage together. Kind of wish Greg Lake were still with us, not because I like Levin less on bass but because Greg Lake's voice was wonderful.
