It’s tuned A-D-G-(middle) C-E(above middle C), then back down to the A below middle C |

Oh, jeez. I didn't even realize it has six strings! How interesting, that the bottom string is a lower tuning than the string above it. |

Super awesome! I've been curious about these forever. It's one of the few acoustic basses I've heard live where you can actually hear the thing unplugged over other instruments. I guess it necessitates having 6 strings to cover more range, given how short the neck is? Does it take proprietary strings? Anyway, let us know how it is, Matt. |

It takes special guitarron strings for sure. Not brand specific though. Looks like it will be a no brainer on stringing it left handed too. |
