I have a 1991 Rickenbacker 4003 already. It's been my #1 since I got it new back in 1991. I've always regretted getting the color I did (Midnight Blue), cool color, but I'm not a blue guy... I always wish I had gotten Mapleglo, White, or Red... So this thing shows up...

Always wanted a black trim rick too, this was standard on all but Fireglo and Jetglo in this period... I had to special-order my Midnight with white trim... Again, I wish I had gone with stock black trim as it was only done for a short time and looks so unique.

Hoping this plays well and is more or less the same build quality as my other one. FWIW: I will only by post 1990 Ricks do to the proper right-side up headstock... Not a Beatles fan.

Cool man! Very Unique being it’s basically NOS and with that color scheme. I was drooling over this myself. It’s nice to see someone on here get it! Cheers!

Well, it's basically perfect. Plays great and sounds great. I couldn't be happier.

The only issue is the typical tailpiece lift... I will keep an eye out for an 80s, black 7-point bridge, as I prefer not to mod this one... I will try to bend it back and do the simple shim fix in the bridge rout... then I generally use lighter strings... so maybe it will stay... other than that I plan to keep this bone stock... maybe a Treble Bezel if I end up playing it much.
