Hey guys, I dunno how many of you have seen this, but Carey Nordstrand has been working on this killer retro/modern bass and I’ve been good naturedly bugging the shit out of him about doing lefties.
The right handed ones have been in production for a little while already, but he tells me, understandably, that the demand needs to be there to make lefties. I’ve been drooling over this thing since he was in the design phase of it all.
What do you all think about this bass?
I selfishly wish everyone wants one so he will produce them.

Here’s a video, and there are tons more on YouTube.

That is a very cool bass and a great demo. I especially enjoyed his rendition of All Blues. I'm not really looking for anything like this right now, but I can see why you've been bugging Nordstrand to make a lefty. I hope it works out!

From Carey Nordstrand himself-

“Regular price for the import basses is $899. We will enquire soon with the factory about what it will take to do a run of lefties.“

If I could miss the money, I would jump at the opportunity. I have some pretty intense GAS for a cool shortscale, and the Acinonyx is incredibly cool!

Anyone looking for a kidney?

Large. I'm sure I could spare a chunk, and I've been told it regrows

No! Your liver regrows not your kidney. Small detail.

Enjoyed the video... a lot of tones there, through the switches (and the they're all genius!), I'm just a such a 5-string guy... which, I know, doesn't equate easily to short-scale basses. But, with the cover bands I play in, the B-string is a must - and I don't want to have to switch between basses on a gig (am I being lazy?... :) )...
