Jazz Bass fretless MIJ 1994

Post by paulo »

I found this recently on Reverb and it was at a fair price so decided to give it a shot as we lefties don't see a factory fretless Fender bass that often.
The body is ash with a vintage blonde finish and tort guard and the neck has a Fender Japan "custom edition" stamp on the back of the headstock.

Cool bass, congrats man!

How does it sound?
Description says it's active?

Looking at the pictures, I don't see where they would be hiding the battery. It looks passive to me but I do see that 9V listed in the description.

That is an awesome instrument and I probably would have grabbed it as well. Congratulations.

Active?? Battery?? Description??
Oh that's just a random photo that had a guitar description, I just posted that to show the description they had about the Japan custom shop by Fender, the part that says "custom edition team".
The bass is a traditional passive JB.
