Well at the moment I'm playing through a PA system via a DI box but it does have that true P bass sound deep and strong and that is with both sets of pickups on so i'm liking this a lot. I compared it with my 62 mij P reissue and with both tones turned full bass and the yamaha only on the P pickups I would have to say the yamaha is a little more bright and the volume just slightly lower but still a great sound and my 62 reissue also has flatwounds on it. I think I'll be keeping this yamaha for a long time.ch willie wrote:How does it play and sound? I like its simplicity, and it looks like a real player.
