And my triplets.

your builds are amazing. that semi hollow sixer gives me a hard on in a very special way.blablas wrote: a bunch of awesome looking basses. and a couple of fender jazz that were alright, I guess

Awesome! Those old G&Ls are definitely on my bucket list.bhunt1 wrote:Twin L1000s:

My two identical 1972 skinny Js. (Right down to the Badass bridge replacement too!). The one on the left is "Link" (named after the cool dude from 70's TV show, The Mod Squad, 'cause I always imagined the original owner of this bass to be some slappin' badass mofo like Link ), and was my first real bass that I purchased back in '84. It took me over 20 years to find an identical one on the right. (No name yet. How about Peggie Lipton?). Link's got a set of 15? year old D'Addario Chromes on him and the other one's got a fresh set of Elixirs.

[/URL]It's a MIM FSR. It has a great tone I just don't care for natural finish basses so I had a local guy who does great work for little $$ refinish it in Sonic Blue. I swapped out the tort guard for a WBW one and added the ashtrays.pjmuck wrote:Love the powder blue J, Austin. What's the story on that one?
