I like the three flavors of MM style tone.

Thanks!
I've tried the Sterling but it's not for me, I hesitate to try a Bongo... And I lack a nice G&L L1500/L2000/L2500 :D

The ATK300 is different from the Ray, it's incredible for the price it costs. But I've got some hard time getting used to the neck, whereas the Ray is just perfect.

I'm not sure about the Stingray 4, but I have both an ATK305 and a Stingray 5 and I think the neck profiles are remarkably similar! The only noticable difference is in the finish (ATK: gloss lacquer. SR: oil). I have an ATK300 as well, but the last time I played a Stingray 4 is several years ago and I can't really remember what the neck felt like.

Great collection you have there. I've been seeing your ad for the Maruszczyk on Zikinf for a while now. Looks like a fun instrument, especially with that medium scale! :)

No fretless anymore, no  I've made a mistake with this one, I should have kept it...

For my hands, the Ray5 and Ray4 necks are very similar, and the ATK300 neck is different, it feels rounder, narrower at the nut, but it's difficult to describe.

Yeah the Maruszczyk is very fun to play, and sounds very well, the pickup is impressive, very dynamic. I find my place in the mix almost immediately with it.
I'm currently trying to test a lot of instruments, so I've put it for sale in order to get some cash to buy and try something else. But it's close to be the perfect PB for me.

I try to be reasonnable and stick with 2 basses, but this time it's difficult to decide what to sell and what to keep ;)

Oh my! That's a serious double shot of new acquisitions. Is that the T-Bird that was recently on ebay?

A friend let me borrow his Rick for a few months, so I knew what to expect when I found this one :) I really like it.
I bought the TBird brand new, it's not the one from the bay. I was just too curious not to try to get one of these, I'm pretty impressed by this bass. But I'm not sure to keep it, as I don't like to have too many instruments at the same time.

If you re-define "too many" you won't have to sell anything. :)

(happy for you that you got your Ric - I know you wanted one. I can't seem to part with mine)

Congrats on the great new basses, I agree you can never have to many.

I learned a long time ago, don't ever sell really good basses for the reason of "too many basses".

I know many will agree how many times have you heard " That was a great bass, I wish I never sold that bass" or I have been looking for a bass like the one I sold year ago".

I've never played a Stingray, so I have no idea how the necks compare... but, I do have a 4-string ATK, as well as a 5-string ATK (same color as your 4-string), and the neck on the 4-string always felt a bit too narrow for me. The 5-string feels a bit like a jazz neck in size - and the spacing is 17.5mm... the more I play it, the more comfortable it feels. It's my main gigging bass at this point, and it's spoiling me against my other basses! :)
