Hello! I just finished building (assembling) this '51 P using Warmoth parts and Reranch paint. I'm a HUGE fan of the P/J sound and I love the looks of the early '50s P-basses, so I decided to throw this together. It plays like a dream and sounds fantastic!
Here it is next to my DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe:

I know that in the past it's been difficult to find a 51 P style control plate in lefty. Did you find a source? reverse a righty? or make that one yourself?

It's darn near impossible to find a lefty control plate. I had a couple made in the machine shop of the place I work at...
