Crafted in China.

Yep it's a righty. I'll change the nut when I get a chance.

In short, was selling an Epiphone righty SG and a guy traded it to me. I've never owned a pointy guitar. I dig the vibe a bit. Silly thing sounds great. Perfect, of course for metal, but easy to turn it into a smooth, melody machine.

Sweet! It may actually balance better as a lefty with the horn now being on top.

I hope it feels good and plays nice for you, too!

Thanks, man. It's a fun bass, and yes, it balances well. Comfortable on the lap. I like it, but the knobs are under my arm, and the volume knob turns down.

I've done a web search: Is there a solution to locking the vol and tone pots?

What I have done in the past is to bury the pots in the control cavity, and put tape around them so they don't get bumped or create a short. Usually there is enough room to leave the knob on the pot so it doesn't get lost, but some basses may have a more cramped cavity. It works quite well as long as you don't ever want to adjust the knobs.
