I was watching some of the CNN Hope for Haiti concert this evening.
I saw a cool - righty - bass during Sting's segment but coudn't make out what brand/model it was. Anybody else catch the concert? He was playing it through an Orange rig.
Sting's segment was cool. He played Driven To Tears. His bass section comprised the aforementioned electric bass, an upright bassist and a tuba player! Amazingly, none of them got in each other's way.
Sting was playing a very sweet Martin OM style guitar. But the clincher for me was the dude who played the lead solos. He was on fire! And obviously was having a blast playing with Sting.
I highly recommend watching this segment if you get a chance.
