New color for the Player Series Jazz. I dig it. I'd probably swap the white pickguard out for black:

Hmmm. I can’t decide on this one, but it’s definitely interesting. Is it metallic or no?

Not metallic. They make the P bass in that color too, but it doesn't seem to be available lefty. (Why? Obviously they can do it for a J).

Orange is my wife's favorite color, so maybe if I buy one she'll forego her usual hostility when I buy new basses. ;)

I’m not sure if it’s just my excitement over seeing something other than black or sunburst, but I like it. It’s hard to tell, but some pictures make it seem as though these newer solid colors are a bit more pale in person. I’ve seen a few pictures of the Sonic Red finish that make it almost close to a Fiesta Red...

I figured it out. It’s the Pau Ferro that’s bugging me (only cosmetically speaking). I think this would look awesome with a maple board.

Definitely! Guess I’ll just have to buy one in black too and swap the necks. Ha

Capri Orange was a color Fender first introduced in the late 70s/early 80s as part of its International Series of colors. I don’t think that series sold well. Very cool (and bold) of them to them to bring it back. I like it.
