I remember seeing that. I didn't post it because the price seemed silly. Wow :D

...and sold... Didn't last long!

Anybody here got it?

I have one in red burst that I bought to modify with the Squier Jaguar regular scale active electronics and pups (jag not available in a lefty).

Had bought the PJ red for some $130 or so, then bought a new Jag (righ handed) on sale for $179. Sold all the parts for some $160 and was left with the electronics and pups for about $20

Total approx. $150 to have a lefty Jag

Super happy with the results... The sound of those active Squier Jag is really good.

Call me a sicko... Yep I've snagged this one!
So far i have half of it (the body loaded) and i'm loving it so i wanted to give it a shot. I have the neck that came with the body but there is no repair for it but i really like the neck and wanted to give a try on a working one. It's good to have a 30 days return policy!

The bass came to me yesterday, pretty clean. More like a dark purple/grape with sparkles all over... Not my fave but i was thinking in having someone refinishing it.
I tuned it and the action was quite high.
I tightened up little by little until it was hard enough not to keep going. The bow was still there. Left it overnight, took to Steve Morril and he also saw the neck was bowed.
So that one went right back to the GC downstairs.
Good thing i had the advantage of returning the bass!
I liked the neck, it was thin like a JB and comfortable.
I would only gamble on another one if comes from GC so i can also return it if it has a problem or from a board member who knows his stuff.
So if you see it for sale again at the GC website, don't buy it!! I bet they will put it back on sale! :?
