This is the only one I've seen so far and it may very well be a one-off, but it appears that Vox MAY be reissuing these in a left handed model now:

Quality does seem to good, much better than Phantom Guitarworks' stuff, but $1600+ is a bit steep, IMO. Somebody wanna make a call and find out if these are readily available lefty? I won't be buying new basses anytime soon. (Famous last words... ;) .

I wonder if they got the official license from Vox to use the name? They don't seem to be hiding it...

You don't think it's a real Vox?

Real as in from the 60s? No. I don't think they could offer different colors or left-handed models on request if so. Do I think it's a "genuine" Vox? Sure, I guess. Who's to say what a real Vox is: if they get a license from Korg, then I suppose it's real. What I was curious about was if Korg does indeed know about this since they are quite blatantly advertising and flashing the Vox name on the instruments. To my knowledge, they have never shown any interested in Vox instruments, only amps and effects.
