Here in LA area. Listing says it was defretted by Southpaw. Interesting bass for sure.

I think he meant to say "it was sent to Southpaw who farmed it out to get de-fretted"? They have a little workshop in the back of the store to do setups and minor stuff, but I don't recall it being equipped to do a fret pull and fretboard refill/epoxy job/planing/sanding.

There is a fretted one for sale at www.newjerseyguitarandbasscenter.com It's in perfect shape with case and Jay is asking around $1200 FOR IT.
