Couldn't one just order a new Roscoe from a dealer in North America and pay more than a grand less? Plus not have to pay for shipping BACK to this continent. Obviously that bass makes no sense for any of us here. Unless they've posted the suggested retail price...

Indeed. I could go to Atlanta Bass Gallery 10 minutes from my house and save tons of cash, while supporting the local economy...maybe someone is willing to pay an extra $1k for a bass they don't have to wait 6 months for? :)

I sent an email about the LG 3005 asking if the posted price was a mistake, that maybe they had posted the suggested retail price rather than the street price. Evidently, that is a USED bass. The retail on a new Roscoe is 700,000 JPY, or about $8500 US.

He informed me that I could get it soon... without the waiting. :lol:
