Not me, unfortunately. '96 lefty P basses are fairly prevalent. Probably the most common lefty MIA Fender to be found, outside of the current lefty runs. I've heard great things about them, but never desired to own one.

mm two years ago i owned a 96 MIA P Bass (the ones with the anniversary sticker on the back of the headstock) : one of the worst sounding bass ever owned ... absolutely no character in the sound ... my 1994 squier p sounded a lot better

that experience made me skeptical about purchasing (with no trying) new fenders, expecially 90s fender basses ...

same here i played a 96 MIA in guitar center felt the same way.

I've always had good luck with those basses. Goes to show there's always a lemon or two in the bunch though. :geek:
