I think these things were available for about 3 months before Ibanez pulled the plug on them, so they're pretty rare... all the "big-box" online music stores had them listed on their sites for about a year, but to my knowledge, they shipped very few.

Anyway... I've read quite a few good things about these basses for the money, so I would be tempted to jump on this if my cash wasn't tied up in something else right now, but... to me, this seems like a fantastic opportunity for someone to jump into "6-String World" for not a whole lot of dough.

It's ok, I found something else better.

One nice thing to note, I know a lot about these basses. Look at the bridge pickup placement. They did not do many like this with the pickup location close to the bridge. Its the first run. Better than the second IMO. The only downfall is its neck heavy. Body is very light but for the price, not tooo shabby. They are discontinued.

I should have bought one of these last year when all of the online stores were blowing them out for $569-599... , and I haven't seen these come up at all since then used or on the bay. I guess everyone who bought one back then likes them so much, they just aren't putting them up for sale.
