Sire has really stepped up their game this year with a whole slew of new models, options, finishes, etc. It's my understanding all are available for order left handed:

Stingray-inspired models (Z series):

Z3:

Z7:

U7:

Fodera-inspired F Series:

Electric acoustic GB series:

V10 series (look at these amazing tops):

The U7 is very interesting.

I really REALLY don't like how the Z basses look. They're like the worst combination of a P-Bass, a Ray, and a Bongo to me.

I had a U5 for a while - it was nice. The new ones look interesting. Are they going to be available lefty?

I've e-mailed Mickey at Sire to get a full rundown of all models to be available left handed. I'll report back.

None of the new bass offerings speak to me - but I feel strangely drawn to that new L5 guitar with the lipstick pickups!

We that GB5 acoustic reminds me to the fantastic Rob Allen Basses.

I agree, I don’t really dig the Z bass look either. it looks like a deliberate attempt to not infringe on the MusicMan patent, and it just looks off. What I do like about it, though are the additional pick up options offered which Ernie ball doesn’t give us.

Could 'GB' stand for Godin Bass?

What Matt said, that is a bass worth needing!

That's the one that caught my eye as well. I'm all set for solid bodied-basses.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like that one is available lefty:

Maybe try to contact Sire directly? They used to be pretty flexible and in the past i've ordered a few basses from them directly.

On another note, I see that they now use metal knobs instead of plastic. If you have an older Sire with plastic knobs, you can use these metal ones (it took me some time to find the correct ones...). It fits perfectly on my V7 G2 but suspect it works on all the basses using the same EQ.

Weird, because when you click left handed & fretless on the Sire site, the GB5 series is included

Yessss, according GB5, good news for us lefties.
Thomann is just wrong, here is the answer from Sire US directly according my question, if the new Sire GB Bass will also be available as left handed option?

Yiiiiiihaaaa, now the question is natural or black and fretted or fretless or all 4 :-).....

Yeah, I got the same response. I think it's safe to say that if it's shown no their website it's available left handed. But not always. Years ago when I bought my V7 fretless, it wasn't shown, so I contacted them and, sure enough, you could order one.
