Beautiful finish, and a pretty rare 1 PUP model too. These are not just 4HH Bongos with the bridge PUP removed, the placement of the PUP is more in the P sweet spot, and I bet it sounds killer.
This is an excellent point. The video link below is an explanation of 1-pickup vs. 2-pickup Stingrays that I found some years ago. It's not as simple as, "the two-pickup version is the one-pickup with a neck pickup so it's better." It was much more nuanced and insightful than I thought it would be:

Bongos get no love, and I don't know why. (Aren't we passed the toilet seat comparisons at this point?)
When I first saw a Bongo so many years ago, I thought it was the coolest-looking bass I had ever seen and dreamed of the day I could afford one. Granted, I hadn't seen many basses at the time and didn't know anything. But, I have always thought they are cool.

I never really "got" what a Rick is capable of until I ran it stereo a few times in my college band. We used to call it the "Piano of Doom". You get all the bottom and all the top in total a**kicking mode.
