I love the look of this (and that finish is beautiful), but I would have liked it even more with a proper Jaguar-style control plate or a Jazzmaster pickguard. Those follow the curve of the body, rather than this Jazz Bass control plate which is straight. The devil is in the details! Matt got it right on his 8-)
