In the past it seems there has been a great deal of interest in these. At a quick look it appears to be decent.

My first bass was one of these. Got it in 2004 for $80, sold it in 2009 for $100. Wish I had never sold it.

I also had one. It was from the 80s and the same color. I bought it in my first year of college or something. I took off the frets and sanded the rosewood down to make my teenage idea of a fretless bass. How 80s is that?

The thing mostly stayed in the closet after that first year - no idea what happened to it. In retrospect, it was a really good bass that I wasn't experiened enough to appriciate. The pickups in particular gave it that great 70s sound.
