Nash makes awesome instruments, but they really overdo it with the relic'ing, IMO

Those are just parts basses with relic jobs. They use Allparts, Warmoth etc. I briefly had a Jazz of theirs that was an allparts neck on a Warmoth body. Had a lovely gap in the neck pocket because they didn’t fit 100%. Sold it.

Didn't realize that. And at Nash's prices, you're really just paying for the relic'ing work then. I'll pass.

You nearly get a Fender custom shop for that price or you could build your own Bass with Warmoth/Allparts stuff, like I did with my 1966 Fender Slab body Precision Bass
And yes, this Nash Relicing is toooo much

@Agent00Soul: if you want details on the 66 Slab Bass Spec and more pics, let me know
@Jeroen: tuner I put on are nearly the era correct ones, I had photos of the original first 66 slab order from Barrie, there were no lollipop tuners on these 66 slab

OK, cool! I thought Fender used these on almost all basses in 1966. Apparently not all! :)
