Beautiful, but beware- that is the one that's been around for a while now- it has a rare, for a Fender bass- headstock repair!

That is one heck of a patch job... I would think that would reduce the value dramatically... to maybe $5000 or so?

It's very sad that this gorgeous bass had to have a headstock repair. In 50 years repairing, I've only seen ONE Fender bass headstock broken, and it was likely done deliberately. It looks like a good Luthier did the repair work, but it's no 15K bass any longer. It is a 5k bass at most. I'll bet it's a good bass, regardless.
