Surprised no one's shared this beaut, although as expected the asking price is out there.

The only fretless Rics I've heard on YT are with tapewound strings, but the sound is really nice - warm and woody.

Also have doubts about being factory fretless when looking closely at the pics.

Huh, that's in my neck of the woods. Well, about an hour and twenty minutes, but it's 15 minutes from where I ran a blues jam for 8 years before the lock downs. Some of the musicians that worked there would come out to jam sometimes. Always nice guys and some good players. The owner stopped in once. They are well known in the DC & Baltimore area for having a nice supply of vintage instruments & amps and strong prices as is the case with most vintage dealers. I've never had dealings with them, but a few people I know have. No remarkable reviews positive or negative, however a lot of stories about the nice nice stuff there.

Oooh, those are cool. And the other silver lining is that the shitty, non-intonating bridge is moot here. I bet that thing makes some gnarly sounds! :)
