These were nice basses when produced but this price is inflated for the condition, etc. The electronics are ok. They can be upgraded. I had a 4 string fretless version of this Carvin in the past. They sound good acoustically with black tapewounds too.

Looks like an AC50F. I had a four string version (AC40F) for a while, and it was pretty cool. The amplified tone has a little bit of an ABG vibes to it but I had no problems fitting in a loud hard rock mix. Pickup is a "LR Baggs ribbon transducer."

Price is definitely insane though.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen a fiver in one of these, but seems like I’ve never seen one go for over like $800ish if I remember correctly
