I'm pretty sure that Sire isn't a Vintage. The Vintage have always had black inlay, and the bridge pickup doesn't look quite close enough to the bridge. I think it's a first generation, as well.

Either way, it's $248 less than new, and no 5-6 month wait for a great bass.
