Edited highlights:

-….All parts are original 1968 and I lips are tested and working.

Erm…. Should I be glad that the I lips are working properly?

….Drilled a hole in headstock for tuner key headstock partially stripped, Body stripped and modified.

It’s a train wreck….

-These are up to 7-8 grand in good shape.

erm… maybe so, but I’d be hard pushed to say this one was good for much…

-Pickups tested and work. I could part this out and probably get more.

Please, then I won’t have to look at it as a whole….!

What on earth happened to the electronics? Was it submerged for a few years??

Now I need to reset my eyes by looking at Matt’s Jazz basses for a while….

…. I might dispute the playability as it appears to be missing a nut…

Why bother moving the G-string to a 3-and-1 tuner setup? And cutting the long horn off... making it look like a rounded SG guitar... That bass isn't worth $21.95, let alone $2195.00... what a travesty... must have been done decades ago, when Fenders were still cheap enough to modify, and well before their value skyrocketed... sad...

Same seller that bought the 72 Jazz with the black block maple neck and jacked the price more than 300%. Then parted it out when it didn't sell. If the parts sold for what Reverb posted them as "sold" he made a nice profit. Lets see what happen with this one.
