Post subject:  Screaming Deals on G&L Tribute L2K Bodies: $65!

Hi All,

After much recent discussion on great deals on G&L Tribute basses, I was cruising the on-line store and came across the following:

Natural finish:

https://g-l-online-store.myshopify.com/ ... dy-natural

Sunburst:

https://g-l-online-store.myshopify.com/ ... e-sunburst

Seems like a killer deal for those looking to mod, change an L2K from natural to burst, fix a broken body, or heck, just "because" ....i recall many folks were picking up affordable necks a while back... now you can take one step further to building that bass

Pickups are a hundred bucks each- and a bridge? Tuners, hardware and electronics..and you know, I HAVE a maple Tribute neck I bought from them a few years back..and I am not sure if it would be cost effective to build one from one of those.- I'd estimate it would be near the cost that a complete Tribute is on the site now- $500.

Yeah, the scarcity of G&L necks really decreases the value of a spare body. Would be a great deal otherwise, though. Might be good for someone wanting to convert a righty.
