There is a local teacher who makes wooden ink pens, and some of them are really, really nice - absolutely gorgeous. When I retired from public education, he gave me one as a "get lost" gift. I haven't used it much because I have it stored away for safe-keeping. (Actually, the Fender pens look rather bland compared to his.) Why is the alder and ash more expensive than the mahogany? lol |
