Good to know--I don't really follow Fender prices too closely.

Seems like that would be a pretty good new price. A bit optimistic for a used bass, though. He must be trying to get his money back on the strings.

Ha, yeah most mod shop used basses go for around 1200ish or so. All that said, that’s a nice PBass
