I'm trying to understand exactly what this is. NS Designs? They don't make any instrument even remotely close to this, and I doubt they were commissioned to make a one off. it's not their aesthetic at all. So what part of it is an NS?

I thought the same thing! I didn't think Ned ever made something like this, so I looked around. It is actually Ns Guitars I guess and not NSD. N. Sergey's is the NS part.
