More Italian eye candy.

There's a dealer in Italy that is a lefty's wet dream. But the prices are absurd:

73 Lefty Strat... $6200 USD.

I have one under my bed I would gladly part with for only $6100.

Yeah, that's kinda high.

Does anyone know anything about this dealer, yes he has alot of stuff and very high prices however the web page has the look and feel of 1998, I assume many of those instruments at those prices have been posted for years. Just looking to see if anyone has done business with him. Not sure if the prices are very high and you can make an offer. The whole thing just seems strange.

Yes the guy is a famous collector here in Italy.

As with all collectors, he doesn't really care to sell the basses, unless you're willing to pay what he asks for.

Great basses, but ... i'd be very careful.

I know for sure that one of the basses (well actually one of the most expensive ones) that hes selling, is not 100% original (rare color) as he states, it has instead been refinished. I know because i was in touch with the original (or previous) owner who provided me photos of when the bass was painted with another finish.
