Now that I think of it, the other day someone sent me a link to a store in Germany that has one, new old stock. They're asking a rediculous price though, they want 999 euros for it. You'll find it here.

Dang, the first one I've seen since yours, and not only is it out of country, price-wise it's out-of-site! That computes out to $1,475.85 US, without shipping costs, duty fees, etc. What are they thinking? Nothing like taking advantage of a slim market segment. That's essentially three times the average market value.... sheesh!

Jeroen, I appreciate the heads-up. I just lost a bid on eBay for a 5-string in black. It went for $325, and I had a high bid in of $300. That would have made it $360 shipped.... I should have put up a high of $350. But, I'll take my time - the right opportunity will present itself one day...

Aloha,
Ian

Wow, too bad, that would have been a great deal.

By the way, that bass on eBay was a righty, or I would have made sure I won the bid!
