Swapped out the Arkham Oracle for a Shift Line Olympic. It takes up less space and integrates better with my signal chain. Sounds really good, too! Like, really really good.

I'm not much of a pedal guy, but, the one pedal I can't be without is my Sonic Research tuner! I've never seen anyone else using one - good choice - I have two! I grew up playing trombone, and used a strobe tuner at band rehearsals... some people who've used my tuner can't get used to the circling lights... but don't realize how accurate it is...

I expanded a bit. :D Willie's Rick talk made me want to fire up the 4001V63, and that means breaking out the PODs for ultra stereo mode!

The POD X3 (red) is for the bridge pickup, using a Marshall Plexi Lead model. The Bass POD xt (gray) is for the neck pickup, using an Ampeg SVT model.

The X3 has two inputs, so I could potentially eliminate the Bass POD to simplify things a bit. I just have to try to match the tone, which I found out is not as simple as duplicating the settings, for some reason.

The B7Ks are stacked and used with a G&L MJ-4 (active jazz). They are powered by an MXR mini iso-brick.

Now the mixer is full!

That's pretty cool! Especially the split processors for the Ric.

Removed the HoTone delays from the board and added a EarthQuakers Devices Dispatch Master.
Rearanged the order of the echo effects.

The attack setting on the Cali76 is all the way clockwise. Doesn’t that mean it’s a super fast attack time? No transients, the notes grabbed immediately. Is that what’s happening there?

Those knob settings aren’t how I typically set the pedal, I’d just finished wiring up the board and took a pic.

I was wondering that...

It's a cool sound at that setting, but I typically run it around 1:00.

Just diving into this pedal, and bass in general. Lots to learn but it's really fun. I've been a guitarist for 42 years now and this is the first time I've thought about taking up bass. It's quite different than guitar - at least it is for me. Really enjoy playing it so far, it's made me rethink a lot of things on guitar as well.

I've got one of those Analogman delay pedals. One of the best purchases I've ever made. Adds just the right amount of grit. Pair it with a mild overdrive like a Durham Sex Drive, run it through a tube amp, and I'm in hog heaven!

Mike makes great stuff.

I’m more of an old school Echoplex guy, but this AR20DL is really great.

Time for a update given it's been a while, no radical changes.

Gone: MXR envelope filter and Boss tremolo.
Replaced with: TC electronic Hall of Fame 2 and Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Star.

Done some moving around of the pedals on the small board, everything is now more or less in chain order on this board.
The Dark Star is a reverb with long trails and placed before modulation, it does some very nice things to the chorus, phaser, flanger, tremolo and vibe, somehow a more defined and detailed modulated sound.
At the end of the chain the two reverbs behind each other can give a very nice deep roominess.

Been dreaming this one up for a few months, and finally bult it up tonight, finishing around 11pm. Works great, except I don't really know how to use an octave pedal.

Nice and simple, fulfills all my needs. Powered by a 1-spot and daisy chain.

I was never really an effects guy, though I have accumulated a nice bunch of guitar and bass pedals that I play with once in a while (but they mostly just sit in their boxes waiting for some love). I've owned several multi-effects units, preamp/DI pedals, 19" tube preamps and amp modellers, but in the end I'm mostly just a plug-and-play kind of guy. I mostly play straight through my Ampeg SVP-PRO and use a little bit of dirt from the preamp.

Some updates.

EQD Afterneath and OBNE Dark Star changed places.
Boss TeraEcho replaced with the OBNE Sun Light.
Removed the Boss CE-5 and replaced it with the Mooer Ensemble Queen - The CE-5 is not bad but resembles the CE-2w too much, I wanted another chorus flavour.
Removed the EXH Canyon, it's not bad but just too polite for my liking. Also gone is the passive volume pedal.
HoTone is hot with this update. Added a Soul Press II (wah/volume/expression), a XTomp (multiple effect unit) and thanks to extra space due to the smaller SP II I could reinstate my two mini delays. (I love echo effects, one can never have too much delays and reverbs.)
Also modified a switch topper for the TCE HOF2, the switch has a larger diameter and I had to make a bigger hole inside the topper.

The Sun Light, Soul Press II and XTomp are new pedals, the other changes are from the spare pedal poule.
