Re: Cataldo Basses/FYI
I know the guy from another forum and i have traded some pickups with him recently. Customers are happy with his basses and he's a great guy to deal with. I don't think he has any problems making a lefty bass since he works a lot/mostly on custom orders. He also had the guys from Thunderbucker ranch ...

Re: Schecter Nikki Sixx on Reverb - $639
Very nice, but it's got to be a damn long bass, considering the 24 fret neck and the space behind the bridge... Not for club gigs..

I can't see the problem, why don't you just reverse the strings so you can play it? Then you decide later on what to do with the signatures..just my 0.02$

You could also look on Alibaba, the chinese 3bay, there's many different copies. A guy on another forum bought a Lemmy rick copy and is pretty satisfied with it.

WTB SX Gypsy rose bass or a cheap medium scale neck
Hi guys, i'm looking for one of the old medium scale SX Gypsy rose basses (pink or violet doesn't matter.....). i didn't get one when they blew them out from Rondo.
I'd also be interested in a cheap medium scale neck if i can't get the SX.
Anyone?

Re: squire neck on a kramer bass
First you need to check if the neck fits in the neck pocket on the body, then you need to check the scale lenght. I guess what you mean ist that the Kramer neck has an additional fret (21) over the Squier (20). That probably mean you must relocate the bridge (or the neck) so the distance from the ...

I'd say, get a SX, change hardware and electronic and you're ready to rock.

Re: Gibson SG Faded @ Sweetwater
Well, the Gibson EB's and SG basses has no problem with balance because of the shorter neck, the long scale Epi Eb3 (like the one in the video) sounds very well for its price, but dives like a Stukas.

Re: Bach Fender Bird Bass - Any Good?
I think you would be pleased with the bach on stage, even with the original Artec pickups.
If they're still available, you can get the nr Tbird for the same price.

Re: Bachbird
I've asked a guy who resells Bach stuff in EU. He say it's a problem between Bach and the transport company, the bass was obviously not well packed, and it didn't survive the transportation form Czech republic to the USA.
The customer never received the bass in the condition that it should have ...

Those are two pickguards. Seems like a legit lefty, probably someone (righthanded) has played it and had the (not) brilliant idea of putting an extra pickguard on..

The Artec mudbuckers that have been offered on 3bay for a long time are very close to the real deal: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Artec-Custom-Ho ... 257b8e865d
