bongo 5, used

I posted this about a year ago and got several responses, but fixing my car came first. So anyway, I'm asking again.
I'm looking for a Bongo 5 string. I know several places have new ones, but I'm looking for a used one. So if any one is trying to unload one, let me know.

Thanks'

Re: So, what do you do for a living?

I just got a part time job today working the references desk at a local community college ...

Re: 4 string Bongo

Thanks for the help.
I was looking used, this won't be my main bass, just something I want. The Ebay one would of been perfect, but i got back to late.
i'll have to keep checking there first, if not i'll order one from Perfect Bass

Re: Some pics of my 66

Big time mojo on this! Andy, did I read elsewhere that you're the original owner on this and had it ordered back in '66?

Yup, my parents bought it for me when I was in 7th grade. It took 6 months and cost 320 $. i still have the receipt somewhere.

I'll take a player's bass with years of blood ...

I like the honey, it's similar to my Warmouth 5. I always like a yellow bass though.

Re: Please say hello

Hey Andy, welcome back. If you'd like me to figure out the issue with signing in as von buck let me know.
Thanks, that's ok, I'll just use this one. I couldn't access my old info because I disabled my old email account so I didn't really try.
This will be easier so I don't confuse myself with ...

Re: My Telecasters

I bought this a while back, it's a 1973 Telecaster bass (the other is a guitar that I'll never learn to play).
I bought it off the original owner. He ordered it in 72 and it took a year to get. Back then Fender would only build lefty’s when they had 10 orders or after a year wait. That’s what the ...

Well I'm back. I couldn't log in under my old name (von buck), so I resigned up as my regular name.
